Pest and Disease Control
Pest and Disease will unfortunately have a presence in landscapes, and we are here to help with regards to your palms.
Lethal Bronzing is a risk to several palm species but mainly members of the date palm family ( includes Sylvester and Canary Island palms). We prevent with antibiotic injections with nearly perfect long term record.
Palmetto weevils are infesting healthy Bismarck palms in all of the counties that we visit. I have not been able to save one after infestation but systemic insecticide ( trunk injected) prevents with perfect record to date.
Fusarium wilt and Ganoderma are both common and deadly fungus to palms with no cure and only prevention available is cleansing of pruning tools between palms. Mostly windspread and sometime foot traffic.
